 “U2 – iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE – Live In Paris” verrà pubblicato in tutto il mondo in versione DVD STANDARD, 2DVD DELUXE, BLURAY, SUPER DELUXE BOX (dvd 1 + dvd 2 + bluray + merch) e in digital download il prossimo 10 giugno su etichetta Island Records.
Il film-concerto cattura le immagini del tour che in assoluto ha ridefinito il modo di vivere un live show all’interno delle arene con tecniche rivoluzionarie e innovative. Lo show è stato registrato nella capitale francese in due spettacoli molto speciali nel dicembre dello scorso anno con ospiti come Eagles of Death Metal e Patti Smith. Il LIVE IN PARIS mette gli spettatori direttamente all’interno dell’arena di Parigi in una esperienza intima e pluridimensionale con Bono, Adam Clayton, The Edge e Larry Mullen Jr. Dice il regista Hamish Hamilton, che ha già lavorato con gli U2 nel 2001 nell’Elevation Tour: “Riprendere e registrare questo tour è stato qualcosa di rivoluzionario ma allo stesso tempo difficilissimo… abbiamo usato una nuova tecnica associando le nuove tecnologie come il rollercoaster alla creatività. E’ stato messo in discussione tutto quello che sapevo su tanti livelli … Ci sono molti buoni show lì fuori ma davvero pochi sono così grandiosi”. “U2 – iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE – Live In Paris” ha preso il via a Vancouver nel Maggio dello scorso anno e ha raggiunto 1.2 milioni di fan in 22 città tra Europa e Nord America. “U2 – iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE – Live In Paris” ha visto la band portare sul palco alcune delle canzoni preferite dai fan come “Cedarwood Road”, “Song For Someone” e una versione acustica di “Every Breaking Wave” tratti dall’ultimo album “Songs of Innocence” (certificate PLATINO in Italia), così come brani storici come “I Will Follow”, “Pride (In the Name of Love)”, “Vertigo”, “Sunday Bloody Sunday”, “Until The End of the World”, “Beautiful Day”, “Where The Streets Have No Name” e molte altri.
